Program Pillar

Public Health

We work to strengthen maternal and child health services, expand nutrition education and open access to mental health support in the communities where we operate.

On the ground

  • Prenatal, postnatal and safe delivery support
  • Childhood immunisation and health screening referrals
  • Nutrition education and therapeutic feeding
  • Community mental health awareness and counselling access

On maternal and child health, we support women's access to quality prenatal and postnatal care, including regular check-ups, skilled birth attendants and safe delivery facilities, working to reduce maternal and infant mortality. We also promote childhood vaccination and regular health screening to catch issues early.

We support optimal infant and young child feeding practices and help prevent malnutrition through therapeutic feeding and counselling where it's needed. And because mental health sits at the core of our work, we raise community awareness, work to reduce stigma and offer accessible counselling, support groups and psychosocial services for individuals and families facing mental health challenges, trauma or stress.
